A:Gatorade is a sports drink manufactured by Pepsico. Its purpose is to replace electrolytes while providing hydration to the body. It reportedly hydrates the body better than water.

Gatorade does not contain caffeine. The one exception we found was in the Gatorade Recover Protein Chocolate Shake. It contains minimal caffeine of 7 mg in a bottle (11.16 fl oz). The caffeine in this beverage is likely from the cocoa used as an ingredient.
