Jolt Cola was introduced in 1985 and is considered one of the pioneers of energy drinks. In case you haven’t seen Jolt around since the 80’s, it is still available today. Caffeine in Jolt Cola

It is obviously no secret that Jolt has caffeine. A 16 fl oz can of Jolt Cola contains 160 mg of caffeine. The caffeine in Jolt is equivalent to many energy drinks of the same size such as Rockstar Original. One interesting fact about the sugar content in Jolt Cola… Jolt’s slogan “All the sugar and twice the caffeine” might make some people believe that Jolt has much more sugar than other colas like Coke and Pepsi. This is not the case. A 16 fl oz serving of Coca-Cola has 52 g of sugar and a PepsiĀ  of the same size has 55 grams. Jolt actually has slightly less sugar than the leading colas.
