I grew up occasionally drinking Kool-Aid in the late 1980’s and early 1990’s. My mom never bought it, but I would typically have it over at a friends’s house after we came in from playing outside. I remember seeing it made using a packet of Koo-Aid, a lot of water, and a bunch of sugar. It was super good and I probably begged my mom to buy it, but she refused.
I haven’t had Kool-Aid since the 1990’s, but my young daughter has recently asked about it as a potential drink to make her. This inspired me to look into the ingredients in Kool-Aid to see exactly what it is made of.
