How Much Caffeine in a Monster Energy Drink?
A Monster Energy drink has 160 mg of caffeine in one can (16 fl oz). The caffeine in a Monster Energy is high as might be expected for an energy drink. Monster Energy Caffeine vs Coffee
For a reference, we compared the caffeine in Monster to that of coffee. There are 160 mg of caffeine in a 16-ounce Monster Energy versus approximately 190 mg in the same size coffee. Interestingly, most Monster beverages have less caffeine than an equivalent cup of coffee. Note that the caffeine in Monster is added and is not naturally occurring like coffee.
